Thank you so much for all of your concern, help and prayers. This whole situation has been a tremendous learning experience for me. We have been so blessed—the Lord has miraculously kept all of us safe through all of this.
One of those in our fellowship circle works right near the epicenter of the first quake, yet the Lord kept him safe. All of our members’ houses in Kathmandu are still standing—despite a few small cracks and damage. Thank the Lord. But the aftershocks have been continuing, and some of us have had to sleep outdoors in tents for safety.
Recently we gathered and were thanking the Lord for all He’d done for us in light of the quake, and we realized what a miracle it was that we are even in a position to be a help to others. We are so grateful to all of you around the world who have helped us to do just that through your financial gifts.
Right now James and a group of young students are in the Okhaldunga District to deliver a second load of relief supplies, and we could really use your prayers for their safety, especially in light of the aftershocks, often several times a day.
In addition to the physical aid we’ve been distributing, we have also been able to pray for people, be a listening ear, and provide comforting Word to those in need. This wouldn’t be possible without your support and prayers! We can’t thank you enough. God bless you.
Although the earthquake happened April 25th and is no longer in the news the need is still great. Please help is you can. Thanks.
